  • Greek Yogurt

My wife picked up some greek yogurt yesterday. It isn't the flavored kind, just plain, so what can I put in it to not taste so...tart, sour?

I put some berries in it, and some sweet n low(had nothing else at work) but it is still pretty tart. I don't want to throw sugar in it.

    Suggestions?

I usually add it to my favorite cereal.

I just buy the nonfat fruity kind. They're plenty sweet.

I mix half and half with another flavored individual Greek Yogurt.
It still comes out plenty sweet for me.
I eat 5+lbs of Greek yogurt a week...love that stuff!

Greek yogurt has 2 times the protein content and is usually made with a lot less ingredients.

Plain with honey thrown in to sweeten it up is how I usually eat it. Sometimes I add fruit or granola in addition.

I've used plain as a substitute for sour cream. Ranch dip, tacos, baked potato, etc. We eat a lot of it.

                      1/2 cup Greek yogurt
                      1 scoop protein powder
                      1 tbsp Splena

Taste like pudding and 34g protein or so. Enough for a single meal

You can use your greek yogurt for dips and sauces , for example as a sauce for grilled salmon: Mix with chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
