  • where can I rent a truck with a tailgate lift.

As the title says. I need to rent a pickup with a tailgate lift. I'm looking to buy a large cabinet table saw off this dude. It is WAY too heavy for even four guys to lift it.

I've checked UHAUL, Home Depot, Budget, Penski, and a few others. No one has a truck with a lift on it.

    Any suggestions?

Budget has liftgates, but they are on boxes, not light trucks.

Does it have casters on it? If so you could have it towed like mechanics have to have large toolboxes moved. Not sure how big a unit we are talking about but 4 guys not being able to move it implies it is huge.

It is on rollers but they were meant for flat surfaces. Four guys can definitely move it. Lift it is another matter entirely. Looking into a Budget moving van right now. It looks like you have to get the 16' van to get a liftgate. Might just be worth it. The saw I'm getting is dirt cheap.

Might also try United Rental. I don't know that they rent trucks, but it's worth a shot.

If it is that big, maybe it is best to hire a professional to move it.

I think Capps rents lift-gate trucks. You might as well throw some business to a board member if you can.

I have a liftgate sitting at my car lot that somebody could have for free. Then you just need a truck lol.
