Nothing important. Me and a buddy were discussing a couple of things and he was telling me how he thought a 235 class would be fun. I couldn't think of one person who still ran them, but he seemed adament there would be quite a few. Obviously there was a reason why I couldn't think of anyone, lol

Yeah, They are some what of a bastard size for any of the popular classes.

You know what would be cool? You should put on a TRUE OUTLAW 8.5 class!

              8.5 slick mandatory
              backhalf ok
              "stock" front suspension
              Auto trans only

Unlimited power adder / cubic inches

I'd be glad to help out of I could.

I could not help but laugh and the idea of seeing a back half car with an 8.5" slick on it.

You would have to pay big money to get the cars from houston to comd up. Then you wouldn't get any cars from around here cause nobody from around here can run 5.1xx with those guys. I just hope the keep the 275 vs 28 class look how that class was not even put out there that much and had 15 cars the very first race with atleast 5 more local cars that where down.

Well.. maybe not a "class", but maybe a race or two a season with decent payouts. I'm sure a few of the local big boys would buy a set of 8.5's to try it out for a couple grand. That would be a decent enough purse to attract some of the Oklahoma guys, maybe some Louisanna guys etc..

Clarify what "stock" front suspension means please. You would need a decent front suspension to get any weight transfer for that tire.

There's some "stock" front end cars running in the low 5's on those tires - I'd have to find it again - but there's about an '80 camaro, a 67-68 etc.. those cars have the worst front ends available. Limited to say, something like bolt on front end components, stock mounting points etc..for a race or two a year, it won't have to be very elaborate.
