I spent about 6 months of my life in Cannes and Nice. Took an awesome bike ride one time between Cannes and St. Tropez. Absolutely beautiful part of the world!

Oh and the Sistine Chapel is possible the most beautiful thing in the world. If you have a chance, go see it. They allow NO talking and NO pictures in there.

We spent a little over a week there (Italy) back in '04. My daughter was in school there (in Albano) for a semester. We stayed mainly in Rome and Florence, but it was awesome! I guess the Sistine Chapel, The David, the Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican, were all stunning to see. The trip home over Greenland (as your pic shows) was awesome, too.

                              Great trip Adam!

Just out of curiosity, do you have any sort of background in architecture? You posted quite a few significant buildings that I studied in school...
