The Grape: Best Burger In Texas

So a while back Texas Monthly rated The Grape's classic cheeseburger as the best in the state-

So yesterday I made a reservation and went to try it. Mother of God that was a good burger.

First off, their burger is only available on Sunday from 10:00 to 2:00 and you need to make a rez; this place is packed. Their menu other than the burger changes constantly too, so you can't go wrong eating here on a weekday.

The burger is great. It has a 10 ounce patty, bacon, great veggies including semi sweet pickles, excellent cheese, and bread that was crispy and delicious-





Anyways, I would highly suggest you give this place a try if you are a burger aficionado!

I'll second your assessment, Alex. Damn good burger, although as you mentioned, you have to be pretty deliberate about going to get one.

The fries were very good though. Tasted like they were cooked in peanut oil.
