A good friend of mine who is currently working in banking out in Miami is looking to move to Austin soon and is looking to stay somewhat in his degree field. He has his degree in finance from UNT and is working towards going back to school for his MBA.

I know that he would probably want to bump up to a higher paying aspect of finance, but here's a place to start:
They've been voted as one of the best workplaces in Austin the last 2 years, and I continue to bank with them even though I've been in FW for 5 years now. There are some lending jobs available as of right now. Most people are promoted from within for higher-up positions, and they have expanded like crazy the last few years. My aunt began as a teller with them when she was young. Now she's in charge of their loan/repo/repo'd auto sales department.
