  • GT500 dyno : new setup

    Old graph:

TVS with supporting mods at ~17psi, 93octane

For an old vs new comparison; the TT system on 93 octane dyno'd 720 @ 15psi. But the really interesting numbers do not develop until 18+ psi.

    New graph:

CPR TT kit at ~23psi, 93 octane with torco

In our haste to get the car on the road we overlooked that the Sp1&Sp2 were set equal to Gp1&Gp2 within the Eboost2. This caused the roller coaster recovery on the dynograph. Got that corrected now and will be going back for further tuning.

We also removed the manifold intercooler and are using a front mount intercooler. With 75* temps in the shop, we datalogged a max IAT2 of 95!!

Thanks to Dustin Gregory of http://www.cprstreetmachines.com/ for the front mount twin turbo kit.
Thanks to Clint, Toby, Sean and the crew at True Street Motorsports for the installation and tuning.

    We are not done yet...

Plan on paying you a visit soon.

My current exhaust is WAY too restrictive!
Need to get cutouts and a larger diameter mid-pipe.

Looks like it's time for you to build a shortblock and turn up the boost.

wont happen any time soon.. even if i do, the D1 is out of steam mid 800s.. im not going past there.. C6 is just NOT the platform fro 1000+ reliable unless you have just STUPID amounts of money.

Mid 800's in a Vette is crazy fast! I know the benchmark for alot of people today is the magical 1000rw number, but 800rw in a Vette is no joke! It's a sick car bro.
