He will sit out tonight's game against Toronto and his status beyond that will be re-evaluated daily. The Mavericks play next on Thursday against San Antonio , then have a back-to-back over the weekend at Milwaukee on New Year's Day and Sunday at Cleveland.
This is good news for the Mavericks. Ruling out any serious damage to the ligaments or cartilage is a big victory.
And it might not do Nowitzki's teammates any harm to prove they can keep the ship floating without their biggest weapon.

Didn't the Lakers start off slow last year? They aren't invincible, but they damn sure aren't push overs. They will more than likely turn it around and start beating good teams.

I Laughed so hard this morning when they were playing the Dirk interview on the radio on 103.3. Dirk was talking to the Mavs play by play guys.
