  • Shop tools used for reloading?

Just curious what shop tools y'all use for reloading. I talking just general tools.

i.e. I'm in the market for both a bench sander and a drill press. I've seen reloaders using a drill press (for what, I do not quite understand atm) so I would prioritize that. I can USE both for various things - just would like one less thing to worry about when I take the plunge.

What other basic shop tools, hand or electric - are used? Vice, clamps..etc I have..

A crescent wrench and a set rof Allens. I dont use my drill press for any reloading. Pretty much everything for reloading is specific to reloading.

Besides "Chanel locks and crescent wrench's" for tightening dies a cordless screwdriver/drill for chamfer/deburring and annealing that's about it for Reloading. Now working on guns I use a large assortment of shop style tools.

I use a small drill press to roll crimp shot gun shells but everything else is specific to reloading.

CIA agents in Afghanistan during the Soviet Invasion said that the Mujahedin reloaded ammo by hollowing out a small hole in a slab of stone, placing the resized case inside, and hammered a bullet in until it looked ok.
