    Why S&W made the x-frame so large

    S&W was worried other manufacturers would try to rechamber existing frames in .500 magnum and not design a specific frame for it. Well, the only company that was dumb enough to try it was (surprise!) Taurus. A few months after the Raging Bull .500 was released it was immediately discontinued.

    Here's why:



    Oh, and this motherfucker is crazy. He continues shooting it with no barrel.
