  • 302/Oil filter adapter hex size

Anyone know what the hex size is for the oil filter adapter on a 302?

I've had two different ones - assuming you are talking about the part that screws into the block.

One was 1/2 and one was 9/16.

It's not getting it out that's the problem, it's finding one to put back in. Had a block machine and they apparently drilled it out and now I've gotta find another one. Ugh.
