  • Best hangover food?

You know what I am talking about. It is Saturday or Sunday morning after a hard night out, and you keep staring at you alarm clock thinking, "fuck, It's 11:30 already?" After you slide out of bed and reach for your bathrobe, and maybe after some coffee and aspirin you get the feeling that you need to eat something to get the taste of beer and cigarettes out of your mouth. Not just anything will do though...

What I have found is best to chase a hangover is soup. The best soup IMO is pho from my local Vietnamese restaurant, but french onion works great as well. Loaded potatoes also do the trick, especially with a side of ginger ale.

    Any other suggestions?

    that sounds good to me...

my buddy Khahn grew up in Vietnam. Whenever we would go eat Vietnamese, damn near EVERY food/meal description included "this is good for hangover" LOL

I'm still a big fan of a good ol' greasy cheeseburger and some fries

Anything greasy basically. A burger from Griff's, bbq baked potato from Jason's Deli (or any bbq joint), menudo, barbacoa tacos, etc.

I have never in my life heard of someone eating chicken noodle soup to cure a hangover. There isn't a lick of grease in it!

Arby's Beef and Cheddar with a Jamocha shake does the trick.

I used to rely on Penn Station's Philly Cheese Steak, but haven't found a suitable replacement here yet.
