I'm still a firm believer in shakeology. My wife has been taking it since fall of last year and is down to 125 lbs and sexy as hell lol. Just shakeology and a workout video.

so how does one know what "mix" their body needs? I wouldn't mind trying it out but I have no idea how much of what ingredient I need.

I guess you'd just have look into what you are currently getting from your protein, and what you do and don't need.

For me, since I'm using mine more as a meal replacement, I went with 90% soy or hemp protein, 10% amino acids, no other fillers, carbs, vitamins, etc. Since I get my vitamins from the multis I take.

I'm almost done with the soy, and going to start on the hemp, which is green and kind of freaks me out But so far so good, mixed with pineapple oj and almond milk, it's been awesome.

A good protein powder should be mixed with just water, but maybe that's just me.
As you know...most fat free milks have just as much sugar content as protein content.
If I want something sweet, I just eat fruit.
Yes, all protein companies put some sort of sweetener in their products, otherwise they would just taste like dirt.

I too second some XF UP(I've ordered about 25lbs of this stuff from Greg).
I eat oats and some cinnamon roll protein right before I go to bed and right after I wake up religiously.
It seems to be the perfect dessert and perfect morning starter for me.

I like the idea of this company and HOPE you can trust the protein content, but it's just wheyyyyy too expensive for me!

Why all soy? Doesn't that ish raise estrogen levels?

bringing this thread back to life as I'm currently looking at making a formula for getting in extra protein during the day. Here's what I got, give criticism, this will not be used pre or post-workout, but during the day at work between meals.

                      Custom Mix Ingredients:
                      Ingredient % of Mix
                      Micellar Casein (Instantized) 50%
                      Whole Egg Protein 15%
                      Hemp Protein Powder 20%
Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) 15%
                      Custom Mix Options/Add-Ons:
                      **Plain** - $0/lb
FREE Food Grade Bag - $0/lb
Premium Very Berry Strawberry - $0.75/lb
                      Stevia (All-Natural Sweetener) - $0/lb
