How hard is it to convert one of the square style vents on an existing roof, over to the powered exhaust vents? What is the typical cost of these units? Bulk purchase price? There are several on the roof but none powered. Our attic seems to get abnormally hot in the summertime. I know because I have been in over 100 attics while doing retro wiring and new installs. There are also no soffit vents. What is the rule of thumb, or how you figure the cfm's of evacuating air from the attic and the number of vents needing to be installed.
