I only got to make 2 passes before it rained out.

            1st pass 9.5 @ 78 with 2.4 60ft.
            2nd was 9.0 @ 78 with 2.0 60ft.

I could have dipped into the 8s, atleast I felt like I could have.

                Should.

I can get 8s on street tires.

How are you leaving? 2.0 isn't too bad with just regular radials.

Not bad, with sticky tires and a real launch you would have 8.7's.

Would it be out of the question for my car to get a 1.8 60ft with radials?

                            If I could get a 1.8 it would run 8.7 I believe.

And that's not bad for a stock 20 year old car!

And Matt, ill run you as soon as we both have some decent tires.

You are fighting a war for no reason . Yes it would be cool to run that on a radial and on a perfect track on the perfect day yes you could . But , with a new set of tires you would drive right past that # , the car would feel way faster and more fun , and you would actualy get to see and compair your car and driving to everybody else . Once you get some dr's you are gonna feel dumb for waiting so long ans screwing around with the standard tires . I have dr's on every car I drive on the street because spinning is just dumb .
