I just bought an Inspire and I would like to have Grooveshark on this phone like I had on my Blackberry but I see you can't add third party apps. How might I get around this? Thanks

Try installing Tinyshark. It looks like it is a grooveshark player.

OR

If there WAS a grooveshark app previously that worked. You could find a copy, root your phone and sideload the app.

I don't know much about grooveshark, but there are ways around the app market.

well I've got grooveshark free for a year and would like to get it but I've read something about android pulling it from market for piracy shit or something. This was done probably less than 3 weeks ago. I read about that sideload thing and was wondering if it would work but as far as rooting it, I have no idea how to do that.

any good place to get apk files from? I googled the grooveshark one, downloaded it from mediafire and tried the sideload but it gave me an error.

its saying my device isn't found...is there android software I need on my pc for it to work cause there was no cd in the box it came in?

Yes, you need the HTC drivers.

Prerequisites:

* An Android phone.
* A computer running Microsoft Windows XP or later.
* The Microsoft .Net 40 framework. Get that right here.
* The USB driver from your device manufacturer.

If you have wireless there at home, make sure to dl the OTA update so you can get the best mobile data speeds possible on ATT's current network config. It has to be done on wireless, the dl won't start on mobile internet.
