  • Boat races in San Angelo this weekend.

Don't know if anyone is interested but we are holding our annual boat races tomorrow and Sunday. If you have never been, I suggest you go to one of these national events at least once in your life.

How long you been in San Angelo? I lived there for 7 years.

I went last year on a VIP pass and it is freaking awesome watching boats go that fast (the free beer was good too).

I don't have a VIP pass but maybe I can score some free tickets from a buddy since he is in the local crew.

I used to watch them every summer in Saginaw MI on the river, it was awesome.

Which is why when you ride the trails out there you run into random boat ramps and no water in site lol. It was probably an awesome lake back in the 50's and 60's.

Nasworthy is constant level, they suck all the water out of the other lake to keep it full.
