  • Changing radios? anyone?

I have not been real happy with the stock 12.39a.60.19x_26.06.06.30_M
radio, drops calls alot when out in boondocks. tried 12.54.60.25x_26.09.04.11_M2 and its much better but battery life seems a lot shorter.
GPS locks faster also. Phone is a HTC Inspire with CM7 ROM.

I will give those contacts a cleaning. I'm all over the country out in the sticks a lot where towers are spaced more apart and hills a lot. When I first picked up the phone it was flat horrible, I re flashed the stock radio and it got much better.
Thats when I started wondering if there was one that works better in fringe area, I can give up some speed for it. I guess the stock flash was bad from HTC, I was ready to throw it under the tandems.
I see you post over at XDA I was reading your post on your soft brick a while back. Knock on wood I haven't had any thing to big a simple pull of the battery couldn't fix.
Around the house I'm seeing 5.7 down and 1.1 up.

Yeah, and Saturday night I lost it all. I had to recover my sd card w/ Hirens, format and repartition only to have it happen again. Turns out it's something either w/ the last update of S2E or Nightly 130 and on that's causing the issue on mine.

I'm rooted running Leedroid and a very odd occurrence happened tonight. The volume level started decreasing by itself until it hit vibrate and then the phone just became unresponsive. I pulled the battery and now no matter what I do the phone...
