I got one too, but I am nowhere near my gaming rig. I will be able to play it for just one day.

Got mine last night also, played for a solid 3hrs. Pretty damn fun, can't wait for more maps and higher res. Played smooth on my rig so that is always a good feeling for me.

Rough in what sense? There are some menu problems I have found, and its kinda frustrating that grenades don't bounce or barely roll when you throw them, but for the most part so far it hasn't been bad.

Cool! I found similar specs on a Google search but they weren't "official". I meet the minimum but not the recommended. Might due for now but hopefully when the retail version comes out I'll have a new Win7 Box to game on.

Grabbed it from the link above. They were pretty damn close to the regular specs and they announced these specs a few weeks before the official specs were announced. So you can probably say that this will be pretty close.

Probably need more than 4GB of RAM though I would think.

just a copy pasta from an earlier conversation about the alpha:

[02:46] weanus: i read that they were overwhelmed with requests
[02:47] weanus: maybe it is a delay tactic
[02:48] weanus: the gameplay is really rough and if this is just an Alpha, I'm not so sure they will meet thier release date
[02:48] godofwartx: how rough are we talking?
[02:49] weanus: well, I wasnt able to complete any of the 5 rounds I tried
[02:49] weanus: frostbyte engine crashed 2 times
[02:49] weanus: vid drivers crashed 2 times
[02:50] weanus: system lockup 1 time.....had to just press the r/s button
                          [02:50] godofwartx: wow
                          [02:50] weanus: so yeah........pretty rough
[02:50] weanus: really bad frame rates too
                          [02:50] godofwartx: placeholder models anywhere?
[02:50] weanus: but.......supposedly new beta drivers out tomorrow for nvidia

weird, everyone I know playing the alpha only complains about the motion blur. but I haven't had any friends complain about lock ups or crashes (ati cards though).

I am running a HIS 6950 and I have yet to have a lock up or crash, game is running very smooth for me actually, no stutters or anything. I've been reading the alpha forums and a lot of nvidia users found success in updating their drivers, but there are still some that still have the problem happening.
