  • Trust and Form 1 question

I am about to mail off a Form 1, but don’t really know what I need to send. The $200 check and the filled out Form 1 are obvious, but what about the trust paperwork? Do I have to send the originals (thought I read/heard that somewhere) or are copies fine? Do I need to send the full trust and the certification of trust... or just one of them? Is there anything else I need to send?

    Thanks for the help.

Copies are fine to include the signature and notary page.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

        always send a copy
you dont get it back, they keep it on record.

it really depends on your examiner. i would send a copy of full trust. i know a guy who had to wait longer b/c his examiner wouldnt accept the certification of trust.

dont forget to send -- Certification of Compliance

also send, it either certified or w/ delivery tracking. things tend to get lost in the mail to them. once they receive it, they will cash your check quickly. that is the only thing quick about the process.

          Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Do I have to send the copy of full trust in every time I submit a form or just the first time?

I forgot about the Certification of Compliance. I am trying to download it from the ATF's website but the military computer I am on isn't letting me. I'll try again later, but thanks for the heads up.

          So I have to send:
2 copies of Form 1 (printed on both sides)
          Cert. of Compliance
          Copy of full trust
          $200 check

can you elaborate on this part? I don't remember sending in such a thing when I did my 3 suppressors last year.

You might have done it without really thinking about it because I don't think they would even try processing it without it.

When you submit a form 4 you are not required to have the certificate of compliance. However on a form 1 they will kick it back without one.

You have to have the certificate of compliance with Form 4s also.

to answer your question - yes, you have to send a copy of trust each time.
i dont understand why....you'd think they would just keep it on file.

that list looks correct...pending having a new examiner that wasnt trained
