Because he wants a gun that is expensive to shoot. Duh

I've thought about it. .357 Sig is supposed to be a hard hitting round but ya you pay for it. Just checked out Able Ammo's website (couldn't get into Ammo Man for some reason) and there are some boxes that compare price wise to .45 ACP per box. Me personally, I would get a 9mm with a hard hitting +P round. Cheap FMJ for target practice with the option to go with a hotter round for self defense. Or like in the Glock, get an extra barrel in 9mm. Not sure how that works out on an M&P and XD but I'm guessing new barrel and mags.

I run +p+ in my Glocks with no problem. I haven't looked to see how that round compares to .357 sig.

Can M&Ps run barrel swaps for the 40 and 357? If so, that might be a route to consider so you can practice with the gun and not pay too much for ammo

If you get an M&P .40 you can buy 9mm and .357sig barrels

It's all about the rush, knowing it could blow my hands off every time I pull the trigger...

.357 Sig solves a problem that doesn't exist IMO.

That being said, I like the M&P pistols quite a bit. I just dislike the .357 Sig because it is pricey ammo to shoot and it is bottle-necked (you have to trim to reload).

fuckkk rimmed pistol cartridges. Pain in the ass to reload. Nothing about the cartridge makes sense. A hot 9mm is just about the same velocity, and a 10mm is better in every way.

Whats cool about saying I have a 9mm and Tony is the only person on planet Earth that owns a 10mm...

10mm is almost too much for a concealed carry cartridge though. Care has to be taken when loading as to not blow right out the back of someone.
