  • DPMS Upper or RedX upper?

Looking to buy an upper for one of my lowers. Was looking at the RedX arms tactical upper without BCG and charging handle is $290. SS with Quad Rail.

But I can also get a complete DPMS 16in for $330. No quad rail though.

Wanted to see which you guys think would be a better deal? I've never owned either brand but just looking for a plinker. So looking for some input from the guys that have bought from redx and people who have owned dpms.

Without my gun hobby. I would cut off my own dick and let the rats eat it...

I've never dealt with DPMS. I have ordered a couple times from Redx and been happy with their shipping times and product.

Seems the DPMS is a sportical. So won't have forward assist or a dust cover. So I might go with RedX and see what their product is like.

This thread makes me wish Del-Ton could get parts in stock.

I would go redx simply for the support/service you'll get. I can't say if either is better or worse quality wise.

Delton was my first AR and I'm very happy with it. And I've heard DPMS sucks but I've never owned one. Could also get a Rock River Mid-length complete for $490.

Hell yeah. I've had 3 Del-Ton uppers, all different configurations, and been very happy with them. Still have my first one; 16", HBAR, Chrome-lined, mid-length. The only things I've changed on it is that I put a Spike's chrome BCG and a different muzzle device.
