  • Holley carb issues

I'm having some driveability issues with a Holley Street Avenger 670 vacuum secondaries. The engine is a stock 350, .030 over, stock 882 heads, and small RV cam (can't remember the specs), carb has 62 primary jets, 70 secondary jets, 10.5 power valve. The carb will run lean when the trans shifts, it will be around 14.0 AFR and as soon as it shifts, it goes to 16.-17.5 AFR. It only does it at cruise or light acceleration when I think it's in the idle circuit and not relying on the primaries. Also has a slight stumble and lean condition off idle if I ease into the throttle, was a lot worse until I put in the 10.5 power valve. Engine pulls about 22" vacuum at idle.

Another issue is when the engine is shut off, fuel still runs in the intake. If it sits for 30 mins to hour, the engine is flooded and will not start without flooring it while cranking. I don't see any signs of fuel leaking on top of butterflies when the truck is shut off and don't know where the fuel is coming from.
