  • Looking for a Camtasia Replacement

Has anyone used Final Cut Pro for video editing? My company sprung for a Macbook for my documentation, and training videos are part of that chore. I've been using Camtasia for a couple of years now, and I'm not all that fond of it. I'm looking for something to replace it.

Which version? I have FCPX installed, but I don't really use it for much. Its decent I guess. What are you looking for in features?

I'm most interested in FCPX for the more advanced audio capabilities. Is there anything you don't like about it?

I don't use it enough to be an expert on it to be honest, if you'd like a trial copy pm me.

Or actually, I didn't realize Apple provided a 30 day trial.
Final Cut Pro revolutionizes post-production with 360° video, HDR, and advanced tools for color correction. Try it now with a free 90-day trial.

Perfectly, completely usable. They keep messing with it for no reason with every successive release, but it's still as good or better than any other consumer-level editing software. Hell, it's a lot better than the last professional grade release of Avid that I used.

            Thanks, guys. This certainly helps.
Slowhand, I sent you a pm.
