  • New IWB Holster

I recently bought an XDs and got the 'Professional' model IWB holster from 'Nate Squared Tactical'.
I had never even heard of them until recently. So far I must say I'm very impressed. It looks to be very well made. It holds the gun very securely but is pretty easy to draw with the twist release.
Most of all, it is incredibly comfortable. It has suede against your skin, with a layer of neoprene sandwiched between it and the leather side that the gun is against. Unlike a lot of other IWB holsters, it covers the entire grip so it doesn't cheese grate your back with aggressive grips. Even sitting I forget it's there sometimes.
Even with the single belt clip, the suede seems to keep it from trying to move around and it doesn't print at all in the different shirts I've worn with it.
Between this holster and the XDs, I think I've finally found an EDC combo that I really like.

Atlantic Blue '00 - '03 Cobra motor and TKO600, solid axle, full MM suspension
    Silver '01 Vette - D1 blown LS

Thanks for the review. I have to admit, it looks quite comfy. I like the fact that they can accomodate crimson trace laser grips.

I really wish I had spent the extra money on a nice piece like this. When I sit down the pinky extention jabs me in the side and is pretty uncomfortable but this holster you posted looks like it would fix that issue... Here is a look at the Barsony Holster I use now with my SR9C. Its cheap but not comfy at all

Since there will be a lot of guys coming through here with their CHL, I have a question.

How many of you are smaller framed guys? I am 5'8" 125 lbs. A few of you may have met me at the B9 Christmas party. I am getting my CHL this year. My current handgun is a springfield xd40sc. Any tips for concealment?

Think I will have to try one, right now when I do inside wasteband I have to make sure to wear a tucked undershirt because the grips on my glock amount to skateboard tape. Not so great against your skin, with a holster similar to the one 330CubeGt posted.

Eat more of your cupcakes and it'll be easier to hide one .
For somebody your size if you want to carry IWB about all you can do is get a good gun belt and holster that will hold it securely and wear shirts that don't print the weapon.
I'm not a real big guy either but bigger than you and I have to watch what I wear when carrying. Looser shirts made of thicker materials tend to help with printing.
The thinner the gun the better too.

Have been meaning to get one to try out, just showed up. Will post back after it breaks in a bit and I get a feel for it. Seems high quality so far.

What is your carry gun? I have never tried to see how well my xd fits in the top of my boot

Right now I'll looking at getting the Raven concealment Phantom, it's one of the only holsters I have found that let's you carry with a weapon mounted light.

Used it all day today, very comfortable. Being that it has a adjustable angle you can get it to whatever feels right for you. I thought the retention system might be a bit much but so far I've been able to draw from it fine. Suspect it will only get better all around as it breaks in more.

@BenG how often do you really foresee needing a light on your everyday carry weapon? Seems like extra weight to haul around to me. *shrug*
