    I don't believe it.

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury." -Alexander Fraser Tytler

We'd better hope that Texas bill nullifying this crap passes.

After the Obamacare crap, I believe that this administration has the will and the power to strong arm a vote on anything....

As if getting mags and ammo aren't hard enough these days... this shit is crazy....

Texas needs to offer all gun related manufacturers tax breaks and assistance to move their businesses to Texas, from states supporting these bans. Like Magpul in Colorado. I'm sure Texas wouldn't mind the jobs and taxes.

someone school me, I keep seeing people say that the ban will not happen, but it happened in the 90's with the ten year ban. I assume people said the same thing then. What makes now different from then?

Violent crime was higher back then so it was an easier pill to swallow.

Now that we've already had an AWB, there is a precedent that has been set. Studies have shown the bill did very little towards reducing gun violence and that it continues to drop even almost 10 years after the expiration of the prior AWB. Also, anyone who votes for it in a swing district will promptly be thrown out on their ass.

The mood is much more contentious right now. With King Barry showing that he is willing to rape citizens of their rights people understand that this is only a piece of his final solution.
