On a new optic for my 3 gun rifle. I had the chance to put my hands on a vortex 1-6 at a match this weekend and was blown away. So blown away that I came home and ordered one. I've been debating on moving up to a 6x or 8x but still wanted a true 1x. The 300-400 yd targets are difficult to hit. It seems like the trend is longer targets in the 3 gun world. But, I think I found my optic for the next few years at least as this one fit the bill as far as quality and price point. I really can't wait to get it, should be here tuesday or wednesday. I'll post up pics of it when I get it. I'm hoping that I can get it mounted and zero'd by the match this weekend. We'll see I guess. If anybody is interested in a burris Tac30, PM me. Just figured I'd brag a little and start a place holder for a future review.

That is some slick looking glass, but egads is it priced out of my comfort zone.

I was so blown away by the eye box on it. It was like a big screen tv compared to my 1-4, or hell, compared to my nightforce for that matter. And the Red dot is very "aimpoint like" IMO.04 2.6 KB'd Cobra!
