        Kool thanks Guys.
ima go in a few weeks. Im just waiting for damn UPS. To bring my aimpoint.
I scored on ebay. Last question is that cheap sliver bear ammo safe for my rifle.
I just purchased bulk 223 ammo 200 rounds. Had lots of bass pro gift cards.
So it did not cost me anything.

Mr. Tinney created CTD over 20 years ago. When the intraweb gained popularity, he started taking online orders. About 15 years ago he split the business and kept the internet one for himself, and gave the showroom to Duane.

They are essentially the same thing, but have different DBAs, I think.

There are a lot mixed reviews on using steel-cased ammo in an AR. Some are adamant about never using it and others are indifferent. I won't be using it in mine.

Are the prices better in-store then on-line? or does it vary? Have not made it much to the one by 820 since I'm in Plano, but now they have the one in Mckinney. The times I was at the 820 store, I was there for accessories and just shopping in general. Did not look at guns since I get the fever and spend money I don't need to be spending.

There is little, if any, difference in price. The biggest difference is in selection.
FWIW, they usually have a catalog there at the catalog pickup counter and you can "order" stuff right then and there, they go back and get it, you pay. It's really kind of silly for them to say "We're two completely different companies".

Good to know helosailor - thanks

For brass cased 223 CTD is my last hope. Bought enough at basspro and walmart to get my rifle zeroed - hoping ammo in store at CTD is around 30 cents a round. Otherwise gonna have to try the online thing with XM193 ammo.

I've found better prices on the same ammo by going to their online counter and getting it.

I ordered 3 boxes of this:

It's $.38 a round, but it is some damn good factory ammo at a decent price...and a pretty good discount.

CTD is always a last resort for ammo for me.

All back ordered - not bad price though - although with shipping it seems to go up. Sucks ammo is so high. Still all stuff that is good to know.

This is true with the FTW store but now Mr.T has the store in McKinney. At least thats what I was told by one of the managers last week, They have some pretty good deals but I found some of their stuff kinda of high. I did buy a tuckable holster for my Sig & Glock, I also picked up a nice Boker knife, I wanted a SOG but I couldn't find one that I liked...

If you are picking up guns (from online orde) at the 820/I35w location they will charge you a transfer fee. 25.00

The one in McKinney will not charge you a transfer fee. Not sure how they got all this set up , but it is screwed up.
