I find it funny that this is an uproar now,( I think there should be a HUGE uproar mind you) They have been doing this stuff for YEARS... Here is an article from 2008 about a piece of technology called a "triggerfish".. I'll give you a hint, they had it LONG before 2008...They can track phones by GPS, figure out what phones are active on that tower and intercept the calls without you or the carrier EVER knowing...
