  • 1995 laser red gt with black cobra r's

I got some 17x9 cobra r wheels that I want to powder coat black since my car has a 24" or so black racing stripe front to back on the car. Thats how I got it. My wife and kids it would look good but I dont know. Slim will be rebuilding my suspension and lowering it with new shocks and camber plates. Will be wanting to put nittos 275 front and 315 on rear but want the wheels done before I take it to him. Can anyone do photo shop please of a laser red gt 1995

i have always prefered 245's on the front. that 315 on a 9 inch wheel is gonna look pretty bubbled. jsut throwing out some things ive learned during my 20yr sn95 love affair.

        god bless.

I tought so too on the 315 but the nitto runs narrower that a bfg 315. Saw on a car and read about it on the corral. But I trust your opinion and whats the widest you recomend.

Put the tires on first if you don't the wheel machine will peel it right off put 5-6 layers on it and its very durable as long as you don't scrub clean and get scrubless spray and it will last a long time.

you are absolutely right the nittos run small. im not sure i have a recommendation, but i like the 245 front and 275 rear on 9 inch wheels. certainly it is all personal preference. i had 295 BFG kdw's on a pair of 17x10 and i didnt really like the look of those from the side either. i hope i havnt made your decision anymore difficult, but just wanted to throw that out there.

              god bless.

275's all the way around and put some 1/2" spacers on the back. That's how blackpony has his car and it looks great.

My 1995 Cobra is running the m-1007-r58 cobra R wheel. The rears were widened to 10.5" to fit a 315 Nitto NT05R and I run a 275 Nitto NT05 on the fronts.

To widen and refinish just the two rears you are looking at $600 and another $300 to refinish the fronts.

I posted all this with pictures of the fit in my build thread. If you want I can put them here for you.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.
