  • Big green egg prices

I have been looking at large eggs and the best price I found was $799 for egg by itself (no stand/plate setter) in Arl . Any one seen them for less ?

I got mine at BBQ Galore in Arlington, they will run specials on package deals and you can negotiate what is in the package to suit your needs. I didn't want the stand since I was going to build a table so I got a pizza stone and some other stuff instead.

From what I have read, the Costco knock-off is (potentially) just as good for a couple hundred dollars less.. Search Yellowstang's posts on his purchase.

      Here, found it for you:

I've about had it with my Weber gas grill, it never lights the middle burner (without using a match), and I can't find a replacement burner at any store I go too. I've been thinking of a different grill anyhow, so was looking at this at Costco this weekend. http://www.costco.com/Vision-Grills-Classic-Kamado-Charcoal-Grill

      Just throwing that out there.

The costco one is $689 right now , so I don't know if the saving is worth it . I am going to build a table so the nest and side tables are not necessary . Plus the egg hardware is made in US and the ceramic in Mexico and the vision in China .Lowes has the vision pro and the hardware seemed subpar ,possible due to assembly .

Yeah, I see that now (on the price). For some reason I was thinking the Costco one was under $500.

PS... Anything you by at Costo, Lowes, is not a BGE... They are primos or Komado Joes.. Not the same quality. Plus we will assemble and deliver for 50 bucks with warranty..

I have a large, it was a little under $1k delivered with stand/sides and some other stuff. No one would cut a deal to speak.

I love it though, one of my favorite things that I own.

I've never used one but they seem a lot less versatile than an egg. I like having one tool that can sear a steak at 900, cook a pizza at 500 or smoke some ribs in the 200s.

I've never seen a pellet smoker I'd pay money for.

I wouldn't be willing to pay what they want for them, but my dad has a Traeger and it is pretty nice. takes about 10 minutes for it to be ready, no tending a fire, and best of all digital temp control.
