Plenty of ammo at the Academy in Burleson. The only thing that they did not have was 22LR.

Yeah ammo is coming back. I just can't find 223 spam cans.

Using AmmoFinder on iPhone - I see decent dips in prices, but they sell fast. Real fast. It's a positive sign though.

Cabelas was completely stocked on .223 yesterday. They even had ammo cans of 500 rounds with no limits. The downside is that most of it was around .50/rd . The shelves were picked clean of 9mm, but they had ammo cans of it on another aisle at .36 or .37/rd . I ordered online using the link in the other thread, and got UMC 9mm for around .28/rd .

Everything else was stocked deep, and still overpriced. Bins and shelves full of Ruger 10/22 BX-25 magazines, and the price sign says $34.99, WAS $41.99. I bought a few of these before the boom at a non-sale price of $25.99. I guess once people stop buying them the price will go back down.

Me too. That's .45/rd, and all of the other "normal stuff" was $9.99-$11.99/20, so .50-.60/rd. Even the bulk was .50/rd. I'm not buying anything that expensive when I can still regularly walk into WalMart and buy it for .26/rd. I don't mind buying it 60 rounds at a time to save money.

What Wal-mart are you going to for $0.26/rnd? Wal-mart in my neck of the woods is selling $10.99/20 rnds for .223/5.56.

All of them around 820 on the west side of Fort Worth, and the one in N FW. (White Settlement Rd outside the loop, Lake Worth on 199, Saginaw on 287, NTP/N Beach)

Tula is $5.27 for 20 rounds (.2635). The independence 5.56 is in the $10 range, so I don't purchase that. Most of these stores occasionally get in the 1,000 rd cases, and even more frequently get the 150 rd boxes. I don't purchase these because the pricing is $447.xx and $69.xx, respectively. So just about .45 and .47/rd. If you ever NEED the ammo, it's probably at one of these locations. 22LR likes to sneak into the Lake Worth and Saginaw WalMarts periodically, but it's gone in like 30 minutes.

Why is 22LR so hard to find? They also had PMAGS for 17.99.
