I am very particular about wiring so I wanted to clean up a few bad wiring jobs on the car and remove the alarm from it, here is an example of a OE grade wire coupling using crimp butt connectors and dual wall adhesive lined heat shrink. These crimps are so strong you can hang from the wire and it will just pull off the insulation before the crimp fails.
