Small business owners

Dun and Bradstreet? Anyone sign up with them? Anyone know anything about it? I know they are the leader for business credit reporting. A rep has been trying to get me to sign up with them and to start submitting my business credit information to them so they can rate my business and put out an accurate score (blah blah blah sales pitch blah)... but does anyone really pay any intention to them anymore?

What do you need credit for that you don't already have the credit for? Credit is a vicious cycle.

No need to sign up and pay them. You can build it without paying to build it. Sign up for the free account to get a DUNS number and then get NET30 accounts from a few companies who rdport to them, uline, quill, lowes, amazon. I have all of those without a personal guarantee. It only takes a $50 payment for it to show up on your DUNS report. Some people ha e recrived a paydex after a payment to three vdndors, others say 5-6. If you want a LOT of good information, sign up for credit boards and read the business credit forum.

D&B is good for 2 things..... Stroking your ego, and showing up on the radar for the IRS.

I don't think there is any value at all that D&B could do for you.

Add a few thousand employees and you may think otherwise...

Probably really unnecessary for a small business... it might add some legitimacy to your
name as you try to establish credit or make large purchases in the future. I'd use the free
version as opposed to any pay to play service.

Waste of money, We used them about 4 yrs ago they charged us for it and do absolutely nothing for you.
