  • Stoeger M2000 ???

"Older" buddy of mine is selling his camoed new gun(approx. 3 y.o.) with 10 boxes of remington shells, gun that has 2 boxes thru it, nice case, 6 decoys-one automated, and vest for $525...deal or no deal? Don't know much about Stoeger except some internal parts are Benelli and somewhat good reviews. I don't currently own a semi-auto, just wondering if I should wait and get what I really want. To me, it kind of seems like he's "preparing" and wants it to go to a good home..........On the other hand, another buddy o mine is selling his 1911 American Classic for the same price....Discuss...

Good gun for the price, but the standard version is only $440 last I checked. Do you really care for the extras? The gun isn't even broken in if it's really only had 50 ends through it.

    I own one myself btw.

      God bless.

Go with the 1911, you need a decent handgun. Even a bad 1911 beats a p250.

I'd take a citadel 1911 over a P250, and I'm the biggest Sig fan on this board.

I've got 2 decent hand guns, but no semi-auto shotgun...is'nt against the law not to own one?

I have a Stoeger coach gun that I have had zero issues with; it is actually one of my favorite guns to shoot. I have had no other experience with their other guns, though.

I have a p350 and hate it, sent it in and then waited for 4 months to get it back. It still has issues.

I also enjoy shooting auto loaders much more than it have ever enjoyed shooting a 1911.

I bought their M3500 last year. It was my first auto loader and I love it. Only minor thing I dealt with while hunting was that once every so often, it wouldn't cycle. I think I narrowed it down to a brand of shells or using shells with a slower fps. Other than that, great gun.

As far as whether it's a deal or not, it doesn't sound like a steal but it could be a great way to remember your friend.

And yes, everyone needs a shotgun.... you're just not a Texan without one.

Now that is funny. You are right though about the Sig fan. I'm a Sig fan too, but I also like me some Springfields.

No, but it is a crime if you don't own a pump shotgun. That's just un-American.

I agree, everyone should own one. Then you don't even need ammo, you just have to "rack it" and anyone in earshot will run in fear!!!

                            I do like mine though.
