  • Stock work

Does anyone know anybody who does good wood stock work? I've picked up a lil 28ga O/U and I need the stock bent to fit my orangutan arms and oddly shaped alien face.

I'll give you some wood to work on

Shouldn't you be giving it to your bride on your honeymoon instead of still checking DFW

Yes bent. Heated in a hot oil bath and then bent to add more drop and cast.

Never heard of that so I had to google it. Pretty cool.

Why not just get an adjustable but plate?

I did this on my Benelli and it worked out fine. With this O/U it's actually on a 28ga. frame so it's very small and an I don't think I'll get enough drop by just using an adjustable pad. To get a proper picture of the rib right now I have to move my head so far back on the stock it's retarded.

I did find this guy so I'll take it to him and see what he says
