  • Beretta Nano

Anybody have one of these or had any experience with one? Was thinking about picking one up for pocket carry and wanted to know others thoughts on them. Thanks!

I have one. As long as you're within five feet they do what they're supposed to. It's a small conceal gun that goes bang. They have, like all other tiny concealed guns in the same category, a terrible trigger pull and the sights are way off, but they're small and go bang every time. If you can spare the extra coin I'd go with a Sig 938, otherwise the nano is pretty much just like the LCR and all the others in its class.

The Nano is way bigger than an LC9 or a 938. It's more like Shield sized.

The one we have in a case has an extended mag. That's what's throwing me.

I came about as close to buying a nano as u can without buying it. I decided not too because it was just a bit too bulky to me for carry. I had decided on the lc9 untill I came across the sccy cpx-2, which i bought and carry every day.

I have a Ruger LCP .380, just looking at the Nano because right now budsgunshop has it for $398 plus you get a $100 gift card to Buds. The Nano comes with an extended mag and standard mag.

Yale, do you work at a gun shop?

Trigger pull and grip. Watch that old guy on you tube ping targets at 80 yards with micro 9's. I am almost as accurate with my P290 as my full size Glock. It is a different beast to master though.

Yeah, just part time while I'm cranking on my bachelor's. We have some really good board advertisers, though, so give them a chance to get you something, if they can.

I have also considered the P290, even though its .380. I have two .380's already. I'll have to search for the video. Thanks!

Yeah, I planned on letting one of them help me out, just wondered if I could come compare a few at a store without being pressured. That is if you are local and don't mind.

I don't really need a new gun right now, I guess the $100 gift card got me thinking about picking up the Nano if it was a decent gun and decent deal.

That's a little far from me! Never been to Star Arms, but I remember Pigeon Rd. from my Tarleton days about 10 years ago. That place still around?

It is. Ol' Roger George is too big a crank to die.

It's a 9 mm. The trigger is long but it's just like the first pull of any Sig. My fire arms instructor hates it with a passion.

Haha! I'd really like to have a Colt pocket nine. Let me know if you come across one of those in your shop!

Hell, I thought those were .380's. Maybe I should check one out since I tend to like Sigs.
