  • Does anyone know local any local ticket brokers that buy?

I have two sixth row tickets to Merle Haggard next week at Bass Hall and I can't make it. No luck on CL (only tire kickers).

Does anyone know any local ticket brokers that buy tickets? Looking to unload them ASAP so I don't get stuck giving them away.

    Thanks.

What about Stub Hub or eBay? What's the face value and how much do you want for them?

      Ya, what he said!

I'm your huckleberry for a give away, though.

The tickets were 225 for both with processing fees. They're going for stupid amounts online (1200 apiece). I would take 800 for both if I could get rid of them this week.

I have them listed up there but so far it has been a guy trying to trade me a gun and people that are offering under half as much as what I'm asking.

Double your asking price, relist, problem solved.

That's been my experience on CL most of the time too. Seems like people just troll there for cheap tickets and there are a lot of scammers selling tickets there too. I don't really like StubHub because their fees are kind of high, but it seems like the buyers are much more serious. What I usually do is list tickets on StubHub for a price that somewhat offsets the fees, do the same on eBay and then list them on CL in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. The only downside to that is you have to watch the StubHub & eBay listings close to make sure you don't accidentally sell them twice. I've never had that happen, but it's always a possibility. I know a local ticket broker, but brokers won't give you anything even remotely close to what you want for them. My guess is you would be lucky to get more than about $300-400 for the pair from a broker. At least that's been my experience.

Your just limited in market since they are ridiculously good seats. You need some old choo choo guy to buy them.

Maybe you should quit trying to make so much damn money on them and sell them.
