  • For the Toadies fans

I stumbled across this little gem the other night. Rubberneck is one of the few albums that I start from the beginning and listen to over and over again. This video is old footage from the recording of the album with commentary from Todd Lewis explaining it song by song. I found it tremendously entertaining!

One of my favorite albums, and the only CD I have ever purchased.

You have seriously never bought another CD?

Nope. I always burned my own. I've been given quite a few as gifts and such but have only spent money on the one. I don't own any CD's currently.

That just blows my mind for some reason.

The Toadies, and that album specifically, bring back a flood of memories from the summer of '96.

I played the hell out of them in my car. I remember when the Toadies and Fugly were the 2 biggest bands in the DFW garage seen. Toadies signed a label and Fugly broke up and the lead singer joined another band called Drowning Pool and killed himself. I wish all there music from Fugly was available. There is a handful of music by them on the web.

                Anywho...............

I'm fairly certain he died from heart failure on their tour bus.

They still rock. Just got home from the annual December 30th show at Billy Bobs, and it to me was the best one yet.
