The GRID cards are really cool technology. I work for a cloud hosting company, as well, and while we offer bare metal server hosting with GRID cards, we don't offer off-the-shelf virtualized GRID instances, especially not in the hourly-billing variety. I feel like this is probably the way the future of gaming is going, so you're likely to see many more companies popping up that are reselling these services, or utilizing a monthly bare metal hosting platform, with a GRID card or two, to virtualize and sell their own customized private cloud offering. -
I kind of hope its not the future. I kind of like having a titan PC with 3 graphics cards. Plus with that, its just like a console. They set the graphics settings, not you. This whole idea is just foreign to me.WHComment
