What are a decent pair of 6.5" components that will sound good off of head unit power (22w RMS-ish)?

What would be the best 6.5s to replace my factory speakers in my 15 mustang GT? Pretty sure I have already blown one.

If you can wait until mid May, 4 Wheel Parts Truck Fest will have a bunch of car audio stuff, real cheap.

Nice, I can wait but I'll probably be in California during that time

                  Year and model?
There are some slimline speakers out there but 2" is really shallow.

I have some old Orion Cobalts or something I can throw in it from the 66 but they're 5.25. I'll probably just do that and upgrade for the 66.

                      Edit, they're the Orion C2.52's.

If you're in town the sale will be May 14th and 15th, eight big pallets of car audio stuff we don't want or need.

                            Focal ISC165 coaxial 49.9mm (1.96456693") mounting depth.

Neither are $100. For that price you may need to look for entry level pioneer or clarion to find a slim speaker.

I ended up making adapter rings and using my 5-1/4's I already have they fit great and sound better than stock. So, free upgrade but now I need to get something good for the 66 but that can wait.
