  • LTC Approved!

Class Taken on: Jan. 21 2016
    Submit online: Feb. 05 2016
    fingerprints: Feb. 12 2016
    Application approved: Apr. 26 2016

Nothing is updated online but I called this morning and as of Tuesday my application was approved and I should have it soon.

I'm going to be going to the gun show this weekend with a buddy to fondle a few things and see what I like for CCW and look at holsters and belts. Anyone ever pick up a holster at this show they would recommend?

Unfortunately most shit at shows is way overpriced. Probably better going to fondle in person, then just buying what you like online.

Generally I agree but I have found some solid deals at shows so I go a few times a year still.

Amazon will probably have better pricing on holsters and the stores at the show are going to be within $20 of Cabela's on anything new. Unless you are looking for a Mosin Nagant, SKS variant or maybe an AK and luck out and run into someone selling a case load there aren't many good deals to be had.

They have the Performance Series Shields in stock right now btw at $499. They'll be on sale again soon though for $50 off.

There's a guy with an end table close to the center of the show near the back door that has PILES of leather holsters. I bought and IWB one for my XDS and quite like it

For belts I love my wilderness belt. It's reenforced to not fold, flop over or sag and fits nicely. Holster I just wear a black hawk with a shirt pulled over.

He didn't have anything for a CZ bit the did seem like nice holsters. I had a kydex one made there for the gun and I am ordering a Crossbreed super tuck from their seconds site.

Magpul Tejas belt is pretty awesome. I run a Mean Gene leather belt and its super nice, but pricey.

As far as guns/holsters go if you go with a glock 17/19/26 the Raven Concealment Eidolon is one of the best holsters out there. If you go with any other gun I would suggest Hellbent Holsters, Veil Solutions, Miller Tactical group.

Glocks and M&P's are good options. I've also recently started to like the CZ P07 a ton.

Just got my LTC finally as well. I took class and sent everything in that 1st week of Feb as well. Came in the mail yesterday.

I'll look into those holsters Probie mentioned.
