I am curious if anyone else is having a problem getting the "pay" screen to populate with the fill-in blocks? For me, it just opens the popup and then after a wait says "system or network error". Anyone else experience this?

Second question. Can someone measure a Mossberg 500 from the butt pad to the barrel screw? I'm doing an SBS and need to know the barrel length and OAL if I cut the barrel right at the barrel screw.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I've always heard you should clear your cookies/cache if you can't get the payment screen to work. Or it could just be broken again.

Thanks. That could be a start.

I emailed them. Should be working now is what they said.

Works now. Just submitted 2 Form 1s for SBR. I need to do 2 more SBR and a SBS in the next few days.

I have always had the best luck with Internet Explorer when submitting.

My Mossberg was 33" overall with a 12.5" barrel and the factory stock. Cutting them at the factory lug position gets you right at or just under a 14" barrel.

I'm using Firefox right now. That seems to be working the best except I think some dinkus is downloading midget porn on our VSAT internet cause it is super fucking slow. Gonna have to wait to submit another SBR until the middle of the night when no one is sucking up the bandwidth.

Thanks. The more I look at the pictures of mine, the more I think I want to SBS something else.

I would just go ahead and do it but go shorter than 14". I wish I would have taken another 2" off mine.

                    Damn man $$$.
I need to do an AR lower, but I'm having a internal struggle on a lower to go with. A budget ass $50 because it's cheap and functional, or spend a bit more on something nice because I know I'm going to have it for a while.

I like that. I need to look at changing out the slide tube but then I'd need another barrel with the lug further down the barrel.

I was in the same boat. I have 3 painted SBRs, 1 SBR that uses a bcg that is unique to the collapsible stock kit, and a full polymer AR for a .22. So I wanted an SBR that was a plain Jane, non painted to beat around and swap other uppers on to also. I bought an Aero Precision instead of spending 200 plus on a nicer billet one which I might do later but for now I wanted a simple, light, no frills, DI SBR.

The mossberg caps are crimped on so you just cut the tube down and slot the crimped area to remove. You then plug weld or braze it back into the shortened tube.

The lug is brazed so just heat and it falls off. I welded mine back on but you can braze as well.

If I do that, I'll start with a pawnshop or gun show purchase....and I might just do it to get the barrel down to a 4+1 and flush.

I've also got a Remington 11 in 16ga that I redid the furniture on it and have no money in. A $200 stamp and a date with my band saw would look badass. I do have a Browning A5 in 12ga but I don't want to cut that one up. Or if I can find an A5 barrel.....

                            for sure

Mine was a Maverick 88 so I had no reservations cutting it up. At 12.5 They will hold 4+1 of 2 3/4" shells.

The model 11 / a5 guns do make a cool SBS.

There's plenty of good lowers well in that price range.
