  • Otis ripcord, buy one get one free!!

Ripcord? delivers the best one-pass cleaning you can get for your firearm. Run it through your gun from Breech-to-Muzzle?, with no gravity feed necessary. The rigid, helix-shaped rubber core keeps the cleaning surface pressed against the bore, engaging the rifling for an aggressive clean. The braided Nomex? surface can take up to 700? heat, so you can clean it at the range or in the field while the barrel’s still hot. Attach a bore brush to get an even more thorough clean. It’s fast, effective and ultra-portable. Helix-shaped rubber core maintains pressure against the barrel. Rigid Nomex? fibers loosen and capture fouling particles. Equipped to fit all Otis cleaning components. Nomex? is a registered trademark of DuPont™.

interesting. I already own an entire tackle box full of every caliber, but I like the fact they're semi rigid, expanding to the bore.

Is there really much of a difference between the .22 and the .223 one?

The .223 is labeled .22/.223/5.56. I have a .223 boresnake and use it for all my .22s. However theses ripcords have a different stiffer core so I don't know how well it will work. I ordered some so we will see. It is labeled like it will work.

Edit: NVM, found the coupon code, RCBOGO

I really like the shorter pistol ones. Much easier to use on handguns than the regular bore-snakes that are one length.
