  • Silencer Shop Kiosks

Any local dealers dealing with these things? I'm curious as to how it's working out on the business side. They've pretty much cornered the silencer market so where do dealers make up the difference. I know there's transfer costs other miscellaneous items etc.

I have read about them but have not actually seen one in use. Of course it has been a month or more since I have been to any gun shops.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

It's a really genius idea since its been explained to me. At first I was a little confused by it. But for a $3mil investment and getting $1.8mil a year for them will make for a nice return I imagine. I know the gun market is already cut throat on guns and NFA stuff you could kind of make a little money off of, but now...

My only real concern is why they are the only ones allowed to electronically submit everything. Imo anyone should be able to if one is able to. Even if you do $2mil in transfers in a month or $200.

Basically the plan is to have all you photos and finger prints stored in their system. Anytime someone buys an item from them, they'll be given a code for the kiosks. You and any people in your trust take that code to the kiosk and it will automatically locate your finger prints (probably verify) and take a new photo. Then that info is sent to your purchase and input onto your forms, electronically signed, and finger prints submitted. They're hoping to be able to allow any dealers with kiosks in the future to do any transfer and submit form 1s.

I think it's a genius idea, that will probably have some kinks to work out. I do have security concerns and hesitant that private individuals aren't permitted the electronic signature, but we will see how it plays out.

It would be amazing if this actually stream lined the whole waiting process and maybe took out the whole waiting period...

So it sounds like the systems that the State of Texas uses for HAZMAT and driver's licenses.
