  • Camaro wheel question

What's the widest wheel and tire combo people run on these turds.

I am putting a ford 9inch and am looking at a 15x10 with a 4.5 backspacing and just curious if this will be fine or if that wont work at all.

    for a 98

    thanks in advance

They made a few different Camaros over the years. It'd help to know which one you are working with.

Also note if you are buying a housing from someone it's probably narrower than the stock axle. The Moser in my 95 Camaro was an inch narrower than the stock 7.625.

I ran 15x8s with 5.5" backspacing I think with a 28x10.5 ET Drag. Had to trim the 1/4 panel slightly for them to clear. Didn't need to roll the fenders or stretch the wheel wells but that was the absolute biggest tire that'd fit without it.

        get a tape measure.

your question is far too vague.

        heres a 335/17

        and one on a 10.5W

i'd pick a tire and have the 9" fabbed to fit it.
