  • Sheet Aluminum in D/FW?

Does anyone know, with certainty, where to buy and have cut locally some sheet aluminium? The grade isn't important, but it needs to be cut to a specific size, and has to be .100" thick.

Almost any metal warehouse should have you covered.

It would seem like you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting one, but that's not the case.

Anyone have any personal experience with Metals4U?

I always use Metal Supermarkets at Dalton and 35. There couple other locations in the area.

They show to have .100 sheet in a few different alloys.

How complex are the cuts your need done?

Looks like Metals4U is going to be able to accommodate us well enough. I appreciate the feedback though, I'll keep them in mind for future reference.

Metal4U is great. Custom stuff is not a trouble for them. Use them all the time as I can't store anything now.
Was looking for a 11.5 dia. Stainless tube 1 inch wall. 2 foot long. They got it in 2 days from Georgia. All other supplier's wouldn't touch it without buying a full length. $$$$.
How much you looking for? Has it got to be .1 or could 1/8 work?

I didnt do any major pricing comparison but looked at their hot rolled sheet (thinking of building a welding table) and Discount Steel out of Ft Worth was $160 for a 2'x3' and $370 at Onlinemetals.com
