  • Title for popup campers?

Wife and I are looking at getting a used popup camper and wondered if should have titles or if they are classes like any other trailer under 4000lbs. And don't require one.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to our resident gypsy? He would know the answer to such a question.

They sell these with a toy hauler area on the front. I like them a lot and may be a future purchase.

And OP they should have a title.

                  Yea get a title.
My out of state father in law gave me one, I worked on it for a few months and went to transfer it, they wanted to charge me fees for not registering it within x number days, taxes because I couldn't prove it was a gift and wanted me to get it inspected.
Had to take a pile of paper work to him and finally got it squared away but it was painful.

Mom and Dad had a popup camper with hard sides and we loved it. No tent flopping noise and water issues as with a tent. That one looks nice. It came with a title.
