  • Who can build me a custom dual exhaust?

My truck is getting a new engine, turbos, downpipes, etc. in the immediate future and I would like to build a true dual exhaust from the downpipes back. This thing should make some great numbers (shooting for 550+ rwhp) with ported heads, good turbos, upgraded fuel system, etc. so I'm thinking 3" pipe with dual mufflers and maybe two small resonators, exiting in front of the rear tire like the 99-04 Lightning.

Who do you guys recommend that can fab up an exhaust setup like this?

My truck is a 2011 F150 Supercrew ecoboost with the 6.5' bed:

This is how I want the exhaust to exit, though with slightly rectangular tips instead of round tips:

Did the engine fail or you just doing a build for performance? I have a 13, just wondering if there's something I should be looking out for.

Just my experience, I had a dual side exit exhaust on my 03' Supercrew. Over the years the exhaust will dull the finish on the wheel on that side. Even if you keep them clean and polished they still discolor over time. Something to consider. Nice ride BTW.

The build is for performance. The main thing you need to watch for is the timing chain rattle at start-up. I was going to replace my turbos and decided to redo the timing bits since I was getting the rattle every once in a while. Once I heard the price, I decided to do a new short block with all forged goodies. Then it spiraled out of control.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to watch for that. I don't want to mess up my wheel(s). And thanks for the props - it's been a lot of work getting it to this point:

I'd like to lower my wife's '15 Expedition just a bit but there are no kits on the market since it's not an high production vehicle, much less popular with the type of crowd that would lower a vehicle.
