  • Mar A Lago - no michellin stars

The Miami Herald has a report from the local health inspectors' recent visit to Mar-a-Lago, and the results are not too appetizing. They found 13 violations, which is a significant uptick from the one or two the club usually ends up with. Especially of note were three “high priority" violations, which could cause unsafe food to be served to guests.
    ▪ Fish designed to be served raw or undercooked, the inspection report reads, had not undergone proper parasite destruction. Kitchen staffers were ordered to cook the fish immediately or throw it out.
    ▪ In two of the club’s coolers, inspectors found that raw meats that should be stored at 41 degrees were much too warm and potentially dangerous: chicken was 49 degrees, duck clocked in a [sic] 50 degrees and raw beef was 50 degrees. The winner? Ham at 57 degrees.
    ▪ The club was cited for not maintaining the coolers in proper working order and was ordered to have them emptied immediately and repaired.

If you knew how many restaurants regularly get written up for health code violations, you would never eat out again.

What does this have to do with politics? And Bcoop is totally correct. There are some filthy ass restaurants out there.

It's probably a complete coincidence but Debbie Wasserman Shultz is their current congressional representative. Palm Beach County is an overwhelmingly blue district, obviously if she can win.

                        plenty of spare time..

A Palm Beach County, Fla., official is proposing a special tax to be levied against President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, in order to cover the massive costs of Trump's frequent visits to the "winter White House."

Trump has visited the resort six times since his inauguration, and is planning to return this weekend to celebrate the Easter holiday.

The county spends more than $60,000 a day during those visits for law enforcement overtime — nearly $2 million since inauguration, The Orlando Sentinel reported.

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told the Sentinel that the county expected Trump's recent visit with Chinese President Xi Jinping last weekend to top $250,000.
Bradshaw said he is confident the government will reimburse the county for the costs, adding that he had a personal conversation with Trump in February and "he understands."

Lol. Didn't care what Obama trips/vacations cost, now cares what Trump trips/vacations cost. Makes sense.

Too bad (For your side) a targeted tax like that is completely illegal.

That type of tax is called a Bill of Attainder and are expressly banned by Article I, section 9, of the United States Constitution as well as by the constitutions of all 50 US states.
